Handmade Beaded Earrings
These handmade earrings are lovingly crafted by Leonar Suarez, an Indigenous elder from the Achuar community of the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador.
Her art is the result of over 20 years of dedicated artisan work, rooted in ancestral knowledge and traditional techniques passed down through generations. Each pair carries the spirit of the jungle, the wisdom of her lineage, and the sacred craftsmanship shaped through her life’s journey.
Leonar supports herself through the sale of her art, and The Nourished Goddess is deeply honored to uplift her work while remaining in right relationship with the original peoples of these lands.
Her jewelry ranges from Miyuki beads to Shakira beads. Miyuki beads are smaller and more intricate to work with, requiring greater precision and time, which is reflected in their pricing. Each piece is uniquely created and she never makes the same pair twice. Every design is truly one of a kind.

Local Delivery & Pickup (Chicagoland Area) If you are located in or near the Chicagoland area, we are happy to personally deliver your item or arrange a local pickup.
